In a bizarre crossover event that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Disclosed

According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine cult.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Changes

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an special katana alongside multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
