Instructor Fatally Shot and 25 Girls Abducted in Armed Clash at School in Nigeria
Armed assailants have taken the life of an instructor and abducted at least 25 students in an raid targeting a female high school in Nigeria's northwestern region, according to police.
The armed faction stormed the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in the Maga locality within Kebbi State at approximately 04:00 local time on Monday, officials stated.
The attackers "engaged police personnel on duty in a gun duel" before breaching the school's outer barrier and seizing the students from their living quarters, authorities disclosed.
